The Grand Junction Area Realtor Association, donated over $800 to two local Suicide Awareness & Prevention organizations in Grand Junction, during the Fall Membership Luncheon at the DoubleTree Hotel.
“The Affiliate Business Council of the Grand Junction Area Realtor Association raised the funds at a recent social event and voted to donate the funds to Sources of Strength and Voices for Awareness. “This is a completely volunteer effort that our members feel strongly about and helps our youth. Mesa County has an unbelievable high suicide rate, and we need to work to provide resources,” said Aubrey Boutilier, one of 30 affiliates who helped organize the event.
Grand Junction Area Realtor Association, is a trade-based organization of over 900 members. Part of their mission is to be an active part of the communities they live in, while helping others make their dream of property ownership a reality.
